We both tell "Our Story" very different but both of them are centered around divine alignment and friendship.
If he is to tell the story, the day he tasted the food I cooked and listened to my goals and dreams he knew he wanted to marry me. The way we met, and our entire relationship was perfect timing for him in every way.
Romeo and I met December 2023 while we were both home in Nigeria. I first saw Romeo at church. I noticed him because he came late and left early lol. When driving out he stopped to talk to my cousin, Chisom but I intentionally didn't allow him to introduce me. At the time I was not interested in anything relationship. Later that day my cousin OJ said that the guy He showed me before was coming over to chill. It happened to be Romeo, again....that night me and Chisom cooked for their friends and entertained them. As the night was coming to an end, Romeo asked OJ if he could ask for my number. OJ permitted him and he asked. He took me on a date the following day, the chemistry was definitely there but both of our minds were not. We were both going through transitions in different areas in our lives and it showed. For months we would talk on and off, just to catch up but nothing serious. For me distance would not allow me to make it anything serious. I was focused on myself, and I didn't want a man to get in the way, and I swore I would never do long distance. I did not believe love was supposed to be harder than what it already was. I gave sooo many excuses to write the relationship off. But God has a great sense of humor. He makes the impossible possible. Around October the next year , life started to settle for the both of us. We had time and space to actually talk and have real conversations. We shared our visions, values, and passions. We were both intrigued, from then EVERYTHING started to align. We agreed to see in December, from then we gave it a chance and here we are today .....
